Property prices have soared by as much as 12 percent in one part of the region
Five areas of Greater Manchester have seen a huge rise in house prices over the last year. Property prices have gone up by 3.9 percent on average across the UK in the last few months, but certain parts of our region have witnessed much bigger increases.
Our exclusive analysis of the latest Land Registry data has now revealed Greater Manchester's latest property hotspots. Having looked at the average house prices in all postcode areas across the region, these are the five areas where house prices are rising the most. M32 House prices in Stretford have climbed by 12.3 percent over the last year - the biggest rise across the region. The average price of a property in M32 was £266,419 in 2023, but you can now expect to pay around £299,237 for a home here.
M45 Whitefield has seen the average price of a home soar by 7.8 percent over the last year. Properties in the M45 postcode are now £21,694 higher than in 2023, with the standard property now priced at £298,177.
