But residents of the quiet Berkshire village have had to endure a very different kind of show in recent months.
Lambourn, Berkshire, where the water table is so high raw sewage now flows freely down the street and into the River Lambourne To add to the misery, motorists passing through the village routinely ignore signs to drive slowly, further churning up the filthy waters which harm the plants and wildlife. Residents vented their fury at Thames Water, accusing it of putting up prices but failing to tackle the dirty deluges blighting the village.
