Police have launched a large-scale investigation into the disappearance of airline steward Luke Davies. They are also searching for his partner, former Ten presenter Jesse Baird.

Bloodied clothing in a skip bin behind a registered club in Cronulla has sparked a large police investigation into a missing Qantas flight attendant, as they search for his partner, a former Ten presenter.

Police hold grave concerns for airline steward Luke Davies after clothing believed to be owned by him and his partner, TV presenter Jesse Baird, was found by a member of the public in a bin attached to Club Cronulla, in Sydney’s south, on Wednesday. A crime scene has been set up at a terrace on Brown Street in Paddington, with police saying Davies, 29, visited the home on Monday.

“He has not been seen since, his family have been unable to contact him and he has not been at work,” police said.“After entering the property, officers immediately established a crime scene.” Police hold “grave concerns” for Davies’ whereabouts, Assistant Commissioner Michael Fitzgerald told reporters. Officers have also been unable to locate Baird, 26, who they believe can assist with their inquiries.“Both the missing persons registry and the homicide squad are assisting that missing persons case,” Fitzgerald said on Thursday.
