The National Weather Service confirmed that more than a dozen tornadoes had formed in the area two weeks before Christmas.
“Since the initial closure in late 2022, we have seen the majority of our members shift their shopping patterns to nearby clubs.”
Nearby Sam’s Club in Keller and Irving are about 10 miles west and east of the closed store. Sam’s Club operates 23 other warehouse clubs in North Texas. Sam’s Club, which turns 40 this month, said in January that it plans to open 30 more clubs over the next five years. The National Weather Service confirmed that more than a dozen tornadoes had formed in the area on Dec. 12.
