The new concept will open in spring 2024 at Watters Creek in Allen.
Arnulfo “Trey” Sanchez of Vaqueros barbecue and Edgar Guevara of M Crowd Restaurant Group are partnering on a new restaurant.. Sanchez serves up Texas barbecue with Mexican influences like cochinita pibil, birria tacos made with brisket, al pastor ribs and chipotle cheddar sausage. The new standalone restaurant, called Vaqueros, will also include drinks like margaritas and palomas.

“I have had a hand in sharing my family’s Texas style and classic barbecue with the people of Dallas-Fort Worth since 1979,” said Sanchez. “I am thrilled to join forces with Edgar and believe that this partnership will allow me to take my establishment to the next level and focus on the part of the business that I love most.”
