Memphis police officers say that a woman was taken into custody after the incident on Thursday.
Lachunda Johnson, a 55-year-old grandmother in Memphis, Tennessee, has been arrested after allegedly stabbing her daughter and grandson on Thanksgiving, according to local police.The Memphis Police Department told Newsweek it responded to an aggravated assault at a South Memphis address on Thursday.Officers said the main victim had been arguing with Johnson, her mother, after she pushed the victim's son.
A Thursday morning gathering ended in tragedy when a mass shooting at a home in San Antonio, Texas, left two people dead and two others injured.Five people, who all knew each other, had spent the night at a house in the 600 block of Potomac Street, on the East Side. As one man left Thursday morning, he fired a handgun, striking four individuals inside, police said.Two men in their 20s were pronounced dead at the scene.
