Former President Donald Trump is facing possible criminal charges in New York relating to an alleged hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.
Donald Trump would become the first former or sitting president to ever be charged with a crime if the panel eventually votes to indict.A conclusion to the year-long investigation had been anticipated as early as this week.
The panel, which is believed to meet three times a week, could reconvene as soon as Thursday. The Insider news outlet first reported the news that the grand jury would not convene on Wednesday. Mr Trump has denied an affair took place, and others in his orbit have said Mr Cohen acted on his own. "It could be three days later, it could be a week later, it could be in May," said the spokesperson, Lucian Chalfen. "There is no prescribed time-frame. There is no predetermined or statutory time-frame."
