The red carpet at the 2020 Grammy Awards is the place where the performers, presenters and nominees, including Lizzo, Ariana Grande, BTS and more , began what’s known as “music’s biggest night.” They took their places in fashion history — alongside Jennifer Lopez in that green Versace dress and Beyoncé in her memorable halo — by navigating the sea of photographers, reporters and onlookers before even laying eyes on the all-important stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
This year, Lizzo was the most nominated artist going into the evening, and she certainly looked like a star. The “Juice” singer arrived in a glamorous, Old Hollywood-inspired white Versace gown, topped with a fluffy white stole. Singer Joy Villa shocked with her political dress, which referred to President Donald Trump and on the back read, “Impeached & Re-elected.”
