In a letter to members obtained by The Associated Press, CEO Harvey Mason Jr. and Board of Trustees Chair Tammy Hurt stated, 'In challenging times, music has the power to heal, comfort, and unite like nothing else.

The Grammys will not only honor the artistry and achievements of our music community but also serve as a platform to amplify the spirit of resilience that defines this great city of Los Angeles.'This year's Grammy Awards will see a united music industry rallying behind fire relief. The Recording Academy and MusiCares launched the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort with a $1 million donation, which has already grown to $2 million in emergency aid thanks to additional contributions. Major record labels like Universal Music Group, BMG, and Warner Music Group have canceled their Grammy-related events and after-parties, redirecting those funds to wildfire relief efforts. WMG and the Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund even pledged $1 million to support Los Angeles area fire relief and rebuilding.The 2025 Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 2nd, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
