Multiple music insiders told Page Six that the Recording Academy is seeking a new venue to host the 64th annual Grammy Awards telecast amid a new report that it will likely be postponed.
The show was originally set to broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Jan. 31, but on Monday Billboard magazineAnother music insider seemingly confirmed Billboard’s news by telling us they have to move venues because there’s a “logistical hassle.” A third source was more matter-of-fact and said, “they’re totally moving this thing. It’s all over the place, and they’re monitoring what the other awards shows are planning to do, but there’s a lot of buzz that they’re moving it to the Hollywood Bowl and are planning to cut the audience.”
