Sen. Lindsey Graham questioned the federal prosecutor who led the investigation into Hunter Biden on whether he was briefed on the FBI’s FD-1023 informant file that contained allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden was recorded on phone calls with his son, Hunter Biden, and a senior official at Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company.
"The FD-1023 in question alleges that the confidential informant told the Department of Justice and FBI that such tapes may exist," he added.Republicans that have viewed the informant file alleged that it flagged two $5 million transactions to Joe and Hunter Biden. The transactions came from Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings, which Hunter Biden sat on the board for at the time.
Graham also sought answers on allegations from IRS whistleblowers who claimed the federal investigation into Hunter Biden was influenced by politics.
