Stephen Means, Nathan Baird and Andrew Gillis graded Kyle McCord's performance in Ohio State's 63-10 win over Western Kentucky
Day stated that this week was about building momentum going into the Buckeyes’ first real test of the season heading into a road matchup with Notre Dame. That meant keeping their foot on the gas in the first half, providing a chance to see how McCord would fair in a two-minute drill to end the half. By the end of things, OSU had scored on six of seven first-half possessions.
Day liked what he saw in his quarterback’s first full-time start of the season. Now the competition takes a step up in quality heading into next Saturday against Notre Dame.
