Impostors posing as Grab Philippines delivery partners this week claimed that the ride hailing firm treated its Cebu delivery boys unfairly, Grab warned in a statement issued Friday, November 11.

“In light of the November 10 event that transpired in Cebu, we are saddened that these groups have resorted to using fake social media accounts to harass, incite threat of harm, misinform, and even do fake bookings on our community,” according to the Grab Philippines statement.

“These individuals are determined to sow discord and discontent, and are willing to place the livelihoods of many Grab partners at risk,” the ride-hailing firm underscored. “We continue to engage our partners, and a far greater majority of them choose to stay on the platform because they understand and appreciate the recent measures that we had to do for their welfare and wellbeing,” according to the company.
