SIBU: GPS would have supported Pakatan Harapan to lead the country, had Pakatan fulfilled its promise of giving 20% oil royalty and 50% income tax collected from Sarawak back to the state, claims SUPP Bawang Assan chairman Robert Lau Hui Yew.

Lau, on Tuesday , said unfortunately these promises were never fulfilled by Pakatan during their 22 months of administration.

Lau was responding to Sarawak DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen, who had on Sunday blamed the fall of Pakatan on GPS for supporting Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the new Prime Minister. "The suit was filed on June 4,2018, barely one month after winning the historic election. Did you speak up for Sarawak then?" he asked Chong.
