Govt to review vegetable dumping issue in Kelantan
Agriculture and Food Security Minister Mohamad Sabu says his ministry will move to balance the local and imported vegetable supply to avoid surplus that could lead to dumping. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 24, 2023.
Minister Mohamad Sabu said the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority will provide advisory services to ensure a stable vegetable supply, benefiting local growers. “The ministry will coordinate to balance the supply of local vegetables with imported ones,” he told reporters at the Raya ceremony in Alor Setar last night.
