JOHOR BARU: The task force that has been set up to deal with abandoned or “sick” housing projects is expected to come out with its target on projects to solve for this year.

Deputy Local Government Development Minister Akmal Nasir said that the ministry was studying the statistics and data that they received with regard to abandoned and 'sick' housing projects.

"I am certain that the ministry had already been working hard to solve the problem of abandoned and 'sick' projects. "A project is categorised as abandoned if it has been left for a long period of time. The process of solving such project are more complicated and require more time.
