PETALING JAYA: The government is preparing to bring home Malaysians in Iran and Italy amid the worsening Covid-19 outbreak in the two countries.
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said Wisma Putra is working to locate all Malaysians in the two countries while urging Malaysians there to register with our embassies.
"This is important so that they will get the correct and updated information on the mission to bring them home to Malaysia," said Hishammuddin in a press statement on Sunday . Hishammuddin called upon Malaysians in Iran and Italy, two countries with high numbers of Covid-19 cases as well as those in other affected countries, to be calm and patient."Most importantly, make sure to contact the Malaysian embassies from time to time," he said.
