Governor Katie Hobbs has officially declared Wednesday, December 4, 2024, as ' Operation Santa Claus Day '. This day celebrates the community's generous donations and the efforts of ABC15 Arizona and Sanderson Ford in organizing the annual drive. Wednesday also marks the annual 'Claus-a-Thon' day. Throughout the day, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., ABC15 will be accepting donations through a phone bank at 1-855-522-1515 or via the website givetotheclaus.com.
Operation Santa Claus, which has been helping families in need for over two decades, kicked off in November, offering donors a chance to win either a new Ford F-150 truck or a new Lincoln Corsair through weekly drawings. The initiative is a partnership between ABC15 and Sanderson Ford to collect food, toys, clothes, and monetary donations for Arizona charities
