According to Mkhonza, this is a reality for him and many in the industry and recalls some instances when his life was in danger."In 2003 I was shot at the gate of my house when I was coming from the office."Mkhonza continued to testify that the lack of government regulation is to blame. “There’s a lot of violence and conflict that emanates from that ignorance from the government because there’s a high level of illiteracy in this industry,” Mkhonza said.
