Utah Gov. Spencer Cox plans to veto “several” bills that passed the Legislature this past session, but — with a Thursday deadline to act on all of the legislation — he won’t say yet which bills he might be targeting.

Thursday is the final day for the governor to sign or veto bills passed during Utah’s 2024 legislative session.

“I don’t have that exact, exact number, but there will be several,” Cox said Thursday during his monthly PBS Utah news conference. Gov. Spencer Cox speaks at his monthly news conference in Salt Lake City on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
