“The evidence was undisputed in this case that the decision to prosecute Aparicio, and not the women found allegedly trespassing with him on private property, was motivated by his sex,” Rodriguez wrote in her opinion, noting that the trooper who arrested Aparicio said he had never detained a woman for criminal trespass under Operation Lone Star because the local jail “won’t take them.”
