Marvel Studios has been teasing a strange hero since Thor: Ragnarok that can finally see a payoff with the villain of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
One strange superhero could finally get introduced to the MCU in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after being teased since Thor: Ragnarok. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to premiere in May 2023 as part of the MCU's Phase 5, marking the final adventure for the current roster of the Guardians team, as Dave Bautista has confirmed this will be his last MCU project as Drax, and speculation has been rising about other potential deaths in the upcoming film.
As many were expecting, Thor: Love & Thunder, unfortunately, didn't see any Beta Ray Bill payoff, but Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 might be the perfect place to bring him into the MCU. This could be done with a slight change to the character's comic backstory, as in the original source material, Beta Ray Bill is of alien origin, but Marvel Studios could easily retcon him into one of the High Evolutionary's experiments.
