Chef Gordon Ramsay has admitted it was a close call after he came off his bike in Connecticut - and revealed a horrific bruise on his torso as he warned other dads to always wear their helmets
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has revealed snaps of his horrifically bruised torso following aa horrifying accident - and credited his bike helmet for saving his life.
"This week I had a really bad accident while riding my bike in Connecticut. I'm doing ok and did not break any bones or suffer any major injuries but I am a bit bruised up looking like a purple potato." He added: "I'm thankful for all the doctors, nurses and staff at Lawerence + Memorial Hospital in New London who looked after me and checked me out, but most thankful for my helmet that saved my life. Have a great Father's Day and be safe Gx."
As he continued to expand on his misadventure, his hands twitched nervously and he confessed he was "in pain".
