Hawley plans to meet with Rao Wednesday, one day before the Senate Judiciary Committee is set to vote on her nomination.Sign Up Hawley is not the only Republican senator who has had doubts about Rao’s nomination to replace Brett Kavanaugh on the nation’s second most powerful court. Following her confirmation hearing, Rao wrote a letter to the Judiciary Committee in which she apologized and expressed regret for what she wrote.
