Several Republican attorneys general launched a lawsuit Wednesday against three major U.S. investment companies over concerns regarding their environmental activism.
The 109-page document charges the companies with seven different violations. It demands BlackRock pay $10,000 per violation in addition to other fines. BlackRock told The National News Desk it has complied with federal regulations regarding its involvement in the energy sector.
