Google rolling out Bard chatbot in European Union
Alphabet’s Google says it’s launching its Bard artificial intelligence chatbot in the European Union.
Its launch in Europe had been delayed as the Irish Data Protection Commission sought more details about data privacy policy. Google made no mention of data privacy as it also said it was rolling out Bard in Brazil. Besides the new locations, Google said Bard will now allow for the upload of images among other changes.
Alphabet GOOGL, +1.53%, one of the so-called Magnificent Seven, has seen its shares jump 35% this year.
