Google Play Pass, the company's equivalent to Apple Arcade, is now available for purchase in Malaysia. Launched back in 2019,
, it is a subscription that gives users access to countless mobile games on the Play Store while also doing away with distractions such as ads and in-app purchases.
The Google Play Pass seems to have been launched quietly here as Malaysia has not even been listed yet on the company’swhere the service is available. It can be found in the drop-down menu when you click on the profile icon in the app store. For pricing, the pass is free for the first month and afterwards, it costs RM10.99 per month. The tech giant is also offering a 25% discount if you purchase an annual subscription at the price of RM99 per year. Additionally, the pass can be shared with up to five family members if you have a family group set up.
Once subscribed, you will have access to over a thousand games on the platform with more added every month. To see which games are included in the catalogue, just browse through the Play Store and find ones with the Play Pass badge. All games under Google Play Pass have no ads and any in-app purchases such as skins will be available for free.
