For the uninitiated, Pixel Studio lets Pixel phone users create and edit images with text-to-image prompts. This includes making new AI pictures from scratch or editing camera shots with generative AI help.That feature suite will now include turning static pictures into animations after they’re created. An “animate image” option will pop up, where users can enter a prompt, or Google will suggest one, to turn the picture into an animation. This Pixel Studio animation feature will likely support sharing as GIF or WebP files, too. Despite the updated Google support article, the animation feature isn’t available yet. Part of that may be down to the different technical abilities of the phones, but in reality, it makes business sense to keep certain flagship AI tools exclusive to newer hardware.
