The final version of the film will show where she and her party end up after the elections.
Call Me Aunty PatCape Town journalist and independent documentary filmmaker Yazeed Kamaldien will be showing his work-in-progress documentary film at various screenings. The first screening is planned for the Labia cinema in central Cape Town on Sunday, April 14, with further public screenings to follow.
Kamaldien has spent the last few months following De Lille during her time as mayor of Cape Town, after her departure from the post and the Democratic Alliance , as well as the subsequent formation of her new political party Good. Kamaldien is continuing to follow her on the election campaign trail ahead of the May 8 polls.
