Australian golfer Adam Scott, who serves as a player director on the PGA Tour’s Player Advisory Council, attended two meetings with PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan and Trump at the White House. Speaking to the Palm Beach Post on Tuesday at the TPC Sawgrass before the start of The Players Championship., Scott said he recognized that Trump had other matters to focus on outside of golf. “It was obvious to me very quickly when they were setting up for the Israeli delegation right after our meeting and putting the Israeli flag and the U.S. flag and getting that room ready, that our conversation was pretty low in the importance of what was happening that day,” Scott said, via Tom D’Angelo of the Palm Beach Post. “And really, the president had far more important things to focus on.
