Alison Morrison, the mother of two college golfers, including Texas Longhorns’ Tommy Morrison, was accused of using a Maridoe Golf Club credit card to buy clubs and lessons for her sons.
Morrison used company cards to make unauthorized purchases between Jan. 5, 2020, and Dec. 27, 2020, totaling $71,534.50, according to court documents and police reports obtained byowner Albert Huddleston reported the thefts to Carrollton police in April 2021. A Dallas County grand jury indicted Morrison in February 2022.
Records show Morrison spent $18,334 on 41 golf lessons for her sons Tommy and Jack. She told police that she charged them to her Maridoe corporate card because Huddleston also took part in lessons. Two of the golf instructors who taught the Morrison boys denied those claims in interviews with Carrolton police.
