This is where Kenny Atkinson can really earn his keep. When Kerr originally arrived in Golden State he didn’t just bring new ideas for a stagnant offense. He also brought with him the former Phoenix Suns coach Alvin Gentry, who served as his lead assistant and offensive co-ordinator for that critical first season.
