Netflix 's gender-bending musical 'Emilia Pérez' leads the way with a record-setting 10 motion picture nominations, while FX's 'The Bear' has five nods in top television categories. Netflix has the most nominations in television categories with 23 and in movie categories with 13. Comedian Nikki Glaser will host the ceremony, known as ' Hollywood 's Party of the Year.' It begins at 5 p.m.

Glaser is known for her edgy and often scathing material on televised celebrity roasts, but said in interviews leading up to Sunday's Globes that she knows 'where the line is, and I don't want to cross it.' 'I just wanna do a good job and have everyone have fun, but, you know, push the boundaries a little bit because that's what comedy is,' Glaser, the ceremonies' first solo female host, told reporters. 'But I don't wanna ruin anyone's evening -- at home or in the audience.' She could also take home some hardware herself, as she's one of the six nominees for best performance in a stand-up comedy series on television, for 'Nikki Glaser: Someday You'll Die.
