Newark's Michaela Jaé Rodriguez made history with her first Golden Globe in 2022., 61, will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
Murphy, a veteran comedian, actor and Oscar nominee , won an Emmy in 2020 for hosting “Saturday Night Live,” a Golden Globe for best supporting actor in 2007 for “Dreamgirls” and a Grammy in 1984 for best comedy recording for “Eddie Murphy: Comedian.” His long list of movie credits range from “Beverly Hills Cop” to “Coming to America,” “The Nutty Professor” and “Dolemite is My Name.”
