Gogglebox star spills show secrets from salary to rewatching clips 3 times Gogglebox
Former Gogglebox star Paige Deville has spilled show secrets, from how much cast members get paid to how they rewatch clips multiple times so that producers can capture the best reactions.
After announcing her departure from Gogglebox with a blistering tweet slamming Gogglebox producers for giving her "zero aftercare," Paige has now likened filming the show to being in a "pantomime". Speaking to The Sun, Paige said: "They [producers] wouldn’t tell you, 'Say this word for word,' but they prep you to say things and warn you about comments that won’t make it into the show.
She even revealed what the stars of the show get paid, saying that rate starts at £100 a day, but some of the more familiar faces that are popular with the public can demand higher pay.
