Naryah Wright, 13, of Steelton, was with a large group of people, including other teens, when she was shot around 12:15 a.m. Sunday in the area of South 19th and Derry Street, according to police.has raised more than $5,600 toward a $7,000 goal as of Monday afternoon. Her family identified her as the victim of the Sunday homicide.
Gautsch said it is unknown as of Monday whether Wright was the intended target. The circumstances of what led to the shooting are still under investigation. No arrests have been made as of Monday.
