Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Discovery have found the writer for the next entry in the Godzilla/King Kong monster movie universe.
notes that Dave Callahan has been tapped to write the next film in the “MonsterVerse.” While nothing is known about the film as of yet, it will follow the recently released, which was a big hit at the box office and showed that the monstrous duo is still a huge draw.
With Callahan now on board, it’s unclear exactly what is next for the still-in-development project. Director Adam Wingard has not yet decided whether to return to the franchise despite Legendary wanting him back, according to THR. Wingard is still planning on making his next movie, A24’s Onslaught, before deciding on what his next move will be.
