Godzilla vs. Marvel is Official, as New Crossover Comics Event Merges Both Universes Into One

The King of the Monsters is coming to Marvel.

He's been away from the Marvel Universe for a while, but Godzilla is coming back next year for a crossover event that's going to span decades. In 2025, the King of the Monsters returns for a series of one-shots that will bring him together with some of the biggest Marvel Comics icons.

&#x2715 Remove Ads Per the Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Comics will be releasing Godzilla vs. Marvel, a six-issue crossover series that will unite the iconic kaiju with characters such as Spider-Man, Thor, and the Hulk. These one-shots will take place in different time periods, with the first seeing him cross paths with Marvel's First Family, the Fantastic Four.

Writer Ryan North and artist John Romita, Jr. will craft the first issue, which sees Godzilla's arch-enemy King Ghidorah becoming Galactus' new herald and gaining the Power Cosmic.
