Following a slow start to the season Nyasha Mushekwi is continuing his rich goalscoring form after firing himself to the top of the Chinese Super League goalscorers charts. Read more here ▶️
Nyasha Mushekwi is scoring goals non-stop again at Zhejiang Professionals in the Chinese Super League.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns striker turns 36 in under three months but is still delivering the goals like he did when still at Chloorkop a decade ago. After his Chinese club Zhejiang Greentown got off to a slow start that left them left bottom of the standings after eight games, Mushekwi has turned the tide for the club in two games played over the last five days.
The former Zimbabwe international latched on to a long ball to scramble home after some suspect goalkeeping from the hosts. It was a typical Mushekwi header and his fifth strike of the season which takes him to within two goals of the league’s leading scorers who both have seven.
