The Girls Aloud singer paid tribute to Sarah Harding after the pop legend's dying wish became a reality
The Girls Aloud singer appeared on the show to pay tribute to her bandmate, Sarah Harding. Sarah tragically died aged 39 two years ago from breast cancer and Nicola was emotional as she spoke about the grieving process.READ MORE: Jet2 issues urgent warning to anyone travelling to Spain
Broadcaster Ben Shephard stepped in to support Nicola as she became tearful. He said: "You think of her in those places that she loved with her friends partying. The crazy, spontaneous, bundle of joy and energy every time that we met her." Breast cancer is the biggest killer of women in their 30s and the new project is one of the first in the world to identify which women in their 30s are most at risk. Viewers following the show on Twitter praised Nicola after her appearance on GMB in support of Sarah's dying wish.
