General Motors has designed a subcompact two-door electric pickup that it's considering putting on sale and has started doing market research on the idea.
, but didn't release images. It hasn't decided if it will sell it or not, but has started exploring the idea and will be looking for feedback from potential customers.The 2010 GMC Granite CPU concept was a front-wheel-drive subcompact pickup.
"We're creating these to get a reaction and then to try to modify it or move on," Michael Pevovar, director of Chevrolet affordable EV and crossover design, said."Affordability is the key portion of this, and there's lots of different ways to approach it."
