Glynn County residents are reminded to place storm debris curbside for collection starting February 3rd.
Glynn County officials have announced that the collection of storm debris from last week's major winter storm will begin on Monday, February 3rd. Residents who require storm debris removal from their property are urged to gather it and ensure it is placed curbside by the designated date. County officials have cautioned that the debris collection process is anticipated to span several days. \The county will exclusively remove organic, storm-related debris, specifically tree limbs.
Piles containing commingled materials, household trash, tires, or construction debris will not be collected during this operation. It is imperative that debris be placed unbagged and separated from other garbage or yard waste. Non-vegetative materials will not be collected. \Residents are advised that the county will make only a single pass for debris collection, and the entire process is expected to take several days to complete. This service is limited to residents and businesses within Glynn County and excludes addresses located within the city of Brunswick.
