Rain, clouds, and cooler temps are the themes Saturday and Sunday. T.J. Springer lets us know when temperatures warm back into the 80s and the rain timeline.
It has been a dreary and damp kick-off to our weekend through the Susquehanna Valley, thank to a slow-moving system to our west. Hit or miss showers have developed as the warm front associated with this disturbance, tries to work east. It doesn't succeed and that's why temps are so raw today. The onshore flow has made for highs only in the 50s. Some locales may not even make it out of the lower 50s.
Isolated showers are possible too as the upper-level wave heads east. Our next system on deck is already progressing toward us, with a warm front lifting into the area Tuesday. That'll bring a boost in temps along with a reinvigorated threat for a few showers and storms. Highs look to climb back close to 80° with highs surging into the 80s Wednesday and Thursday.
