"If countries deliver on their national energy and climate pledges on time and in full, clean energy progress would move even faster," the IEA's statement said. In a sign of how high the stakes are, the IEA's report said its Stated Policies Scenario was now "associated with a temperature rise of 2.4 °C in 2100 .
