Shortly before 11 a.m. Friday, Glenview police were notified that a student at Springman Middle School, 2701 Central Road, possessed a BB-gun on school property on Thursday, Nov. 2, and Friday, Nov. 3, police said in a news release on Friday.
It said the “student was identified” and the BB-gun was taken into police custody without incident. No injuries were reported. “This incident is being investigated by Glenview Police Detectives,” the release said. “There is no further information to release at this time.
