Glendale is getting a handle on vacation rentals as the city will host the Super Bowl in about nine months.
that properties can only be rented for residential use, meaning homes can't be rented as event spaces.The city also clamped down on house parties characterized by excessive noise, traffic, public drunkenness, underage drinking, littering and fighting.
The city will work to cross reference properties from that list with tax records to locate the property owner who will then be asked to register their property and could face monetary penalties for nuisance party and"unlawful gathering" violations.
