One person is dead and three others are hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a crash near 53rd and Grand avenues. abc15

Officials say a vehicle was driving northwest on Grand Avenue when it lost control and crashed into a business.

One person died at the scene and three others were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say investigators have received conflicting information from eyewitnesses and are unsure if another vehicle was involved in the crash. Westbound lanes of Grand Avenue are closed between 51st and 57th avenues while the crash is under investigation. There is no estimated time to reopen.

Police ask that anyone with information regarding the crash call the Glendale Police Department at 930-3000.
