Last week, it seemed that British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe was in pole position to become the man to takeover the club.
The Glazer family put United up for sale in November 2022, but Ratcliffe is rumoured to have only bid for a 60% stake in the English giants, with the view of the the current American owners retaining a stake.claiming that Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani has been chosen as the successful bidder for the Mancunians.
