It is the biggest festival in the UK

A huge change has been made to the way people will be able to purchase Glastonbury Festival tickets. Usually, those hoping to bag tickets would have to refresh the landing page when tickets went on sale but things will be different this year after bosses at the festival made the announcement. Fans will now be placed in an online virtual queue in what will be a completely new way of booking tickets for the famous festival. This change comes alongside ticket prices changing.

You can only buy tickets if you are registered to buy them. This comes as part of the ongoing bid to beat the ticket touts who resell tickets for ridiculous prices. Festival bosses have warned that those hoping to attend will need to check the status of their registration in order to avoid disappointment. Registration for this year closes at 5pm on Monday, November 11. For those eligible to enter the sale you will be given a place in a virtual queue and randomly assigned a number.
