Louise has been put off Greggs for life 😲
Louise Ross, from Bellshill, was nearly sick after finding what seemed to be a dead cockroach wedged between the lettuce and tomato in her ham sandwich on May 9.
"I opened it later on to put mayo on and saw the insect under the tomato. I was nearly sick when I saw it. She claims she was later informed by the bakery chain that the insect was the fault of their lettuce supplier and was offered a £15 food voucher.She continued: "I think the sandwiches are pre-made in store, so I don't know how they've managed to miss that. I noticed it right away.
"If customer care knew enough to tell me it had come from the lettuce supplier, then surely there must have been more than the one on my sandwich?
